Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16 October 2026
This policy covers the softcupid.com website only — what happens when you browse it, and what happens when you submit the contact or order form. It doesn't cover the separate software systems we build for clients, which are governed by that client's own agreement with us.
What we collect
Browsing this site itself: nothing. We don't use cookies, analytics, or tracking scripts on softcupid.com — there is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.
If you submit the contact form or order form, we receive whatever you typed: your name, email address, and message (and, on the order form, your company name and chosen package if provided). That's it.
How it's used
Solely to reply to you. Submissions are sent directly to our inbox by email — we do not store them in a database, add you to a mailing list, or use them for anything beyond responding to your enquiry.
Spam prevention
Both forms use an invisible, self-hosted spam filter that looks at signals like how quickly a form was submitted and whether any real interaction happened on the page. This runs entirely on submission and isn't stored — no CAPTCHA, no third-party tracking service is involved.
Server logs
Like virtually every website, our hosting infrastructure keeps standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, requested page) for security and operational purposes — for example, detecting abuse. These are not used to identify or profile individual visitors and are retained only as long as operationally necessary.
Third parties
We use a third-party email provider to send and receive mail. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with anyone else.
Your rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (for example, an old email thread) at any time by writing to [email protected].
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date above. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
