Terms of Service
Last updated: 16 October 2026
These terms apply when you engage Softcupid ("we", "us") to build or manage an automation system. Using this website, or submitting the order form, does not by itself create a contract — an engagement begins once we've agreed the scope and package with you in writing (including by email).
Our services
We design, build, and maintain business-automation systems (the "Automation Starter," "Automation Pro," and "AI Business Automation" packages described on our pricing page, or a custom scope agreed separately). Exact scope, timeline, and price for your project are confirmed with you before work begins.
Fees and payment
Setup work is billed as a one-time fee based on the agreed package or scope. Ongoing hosting, monitoring, and support are billed monthly for as long as that plan is active. Specific amounts and payment terms are confirmed with you before an engagement starts.
Changes to scope
Work beyond what was originally scoped (a new automation, a significant change in requirements) is treated as additional work and billed accordingly — we'll always tell you before starting anything outside the agreed scope.
Cancellation
The one-time setup fee is for work already performed and is non-refundable once work has begun, except where required by law. The monthly management plan can be cancelled with notice; you keep the automation system that was built, though it will no longer include our hosting, monitoring, and support once the plan ends.
Ownership
Once fully paid for, the automation configuration and workflows built specifically for you are yours. This doesn't extend to our own underlying tools, templates, or methods, which we may reuse for other clients.
Your responsibilities
You're responsible for the accuracy of the business information you give us (customer data, product details, process rules) and for having the rights to any accounts, tools, or data you ask us to connect to.
Availability and support
We aim for high uptime on anything we host, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability — third-party services we integrate with (email providers, CRMs, payment processors, etc.) can and occasionally do have outages outside our control.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the fees you've paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim in the preceding three months. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data from a third-party service outage.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time; the date above reflects the latest revision. For an active engagement, we'll let you know about any change that materially affects you.
